I work with my ex girlfriend so we see a lot of each other. We broke up a month ago, and I've been going through the process of healing. I know that when she starts dating again, she'll want to talk about it with me. I still have feelings for this girl, and I'm just afraid that it's going to put me back in that awful place I was a month ago. How do I handle it inside when she starts dating someone? What's the best mindset for handling that?

Make some boundaries that you can handle. If you can't handle thinking of her being with another man don't put yourself through it. Just tell her to keep her life to herself for now.

Like people have said in other post start dating. This will help get the ex off your mind.

It's messed up you two work together, because it's so easy to know what's going on in each others lives. Your going to have to grin and bear the situation, because the last thing you want to do is have it interfere with your job.
You should by no means talk to her about her new boyfriend, if she approaches you about it, then she is apparently fishing to see if you still care? To me when it's over it's over....Friendship will come back later after you have both healed completely from the breakup, if you two are to remain friends. Mind set ahead of time is to let her know you don't want to hear about her dating experiences unless they involve you. She should get the picture loud and clear. And, once you hear or see it up in your face, then is when you'll have to figure out how your feeling about it then. If she goes out and dates really quick after you, then she definitely is not the person you want for a life partner, she moves on too fast, and doesn't think of your feelings.

If she starts dating someone else and talking to you about it, find a chic hotter than her, and put her pictures up everywhere. Maybe even try a double date "to be friendly"

Don't listen to her if she talks about her dates, or even tell her that you don't really want to know, cos it will hurt you even more. Just try to move on with your life without her, start dating other people too...
