That's a hard situation. But if you are loyal friends to eachother, you should put your friend before him.
All it will do is cause drama if you don't.

Firstly, I think I should point out that you seem like a very niceg girl. You are concerned about your friend's feelings, and that shows you're a very nice girl.
However, I must tlel you the truth: you, unfortunately, have to make the decision.
If this helps, by chosing to let your friend take the opportunity, you will still be loyal to her (but if he doesn't like her, then you might have a shot at this). And if you choose the boy, you will have a boyfriend and will probably be happy, while at the same time letting down your friend.

You have to decide which is more important, this boy or your friend. I would definately not let this guy ruin your friendship. It's okay for you guys to like the same guy but it's not okay to go out with him. If your friend goes out with this guy, you will at least know you are a WAY better friend than her!

the same thing happened with me and my friend... and i ended up dating him for about 2 yrs and my friend said she didn't have a problem with it... but after me and him broke up she confessed that she really did mind... so i think that if this boy is going to cause problems between you and your friend the both of you should make a pact to both leave him alone

I have the same problem except my friend is obsessed/loves my boyfriend and she hits on him and stuff..but dont worry too much..just continue liking him maybe..u and ure friend could have secrets and gossip lol...i dont kno if i helped but just do what feels right

Make sure that you both arent going to get mad about him. Dont fight with your friend because chances are if you get this guy, you wont get married, but you want to have your friends there. Last, unless you kno this guy likes you its his choice too, you cant have him unless he wants you too. But good luck. <3

First you need to find out if he likes you back. If he doesn't, don't try to go out with him. Because if you do and he didnt like you back then the relationship wouldn't laast long and you could lose friends. But if he likes you try it!
