Parallel. In a series circuit, there is only one way for the electrons in electricity to flow. The entire circuit is opened and no current would be able to flow if there was just one break in the circuit. That means if ur homes use series circuit, in order for ur tv to work, all ur other electric appliances have to also be on.

These answers are all correct. Most homes use a type of parallel circuit called a ring circuit; a separate ring circuit for each current rating. So there's one for the 5 amps lighting circuit, one for the 15 amp wall outlets and so on.

Modern residential electrical circuits are wired parallel.
Lamps and other devices are wired parallel into a single circuit to allow all to draw the same voltage and each operates independent of the other devices.

In a parallel circuit all the voltages are the same. In a series circuit the voltages are proportional to the impedances. All your voltages are the same, therefore, parallel.
