I just say "morning". That way I'm not making assumptions about their day!!!

not all people always mean it; its just a way of greeting someone like when you're at the store and the cashier asks how you're doing most of the time they could really care less... and people usually just answer fine or good its not like they would really tell the cashier if they're feeling bad or something. when i say good morning im usually still asleep so i really dont know if i mean it or not... lol i dont really wake up till 2nd period during school =)

I usually don't. It's just something to say. Usually in the morning, I'm so tired, all I really feel like doing is grunting at people, but "good Morning" is so automatic, it's almost as easy as grunting anyway.

Yes i do, or i wouldn't say it. Get's my goat when you greet, some co/workers and they cant be bothered to greet you back.
