There are a lot of good ideas from the other posters, macros of flowers, bugs, pencils, water drops (although those are tricky,if you haven't done one before ) an eye. My husband has a few on his site (he's a photographer) if your interested in having a look you can see them at www.jamesgordonstudios.com Not sure what he has on there at the moment but it might give you a few more ideas.

You should make it mean something. I'm sure it doesn't have to be beautiful. If global warming is something you feel strongly about, do a close up on thrash items that could have been recycled. If you think that the media puts too much pressure on girls to be skinny, do a close up on unhealthy foods and diet pills or something. Whatever you do, make it your own, and important. Have a real explination of what your photo is of, and what it represents to you.

Heck, take apart a disposable camera, and do a close up of the insides, "you wanted to focus on photography" you dig?

Good luck, i hope this helped.

Do a close up of some ones lips but of course with a pretty smile or greet teeth. Maybe even close up on a firefly or a cute pet
