how much does peanuts cost? Cheap right? A dollar or two for like a whole box....well...that car that you wanted..its not expensive, but its usually like 1000 dollars...and you got it for the cost of peanuts...so its like, you got it for cheap....dirt cheap...kinda like you are "buying it for peanuts..."

It means very cheap or sometimes they will say "dirt cheap"
