I am a graphic designer. I use math all the time to calculate margins, file dpi conversion, matching to stock, billing taxes for my customers and late fees - even just adding up the estimate (my number of hours, times my hourly rate, plus any contractors I use - for which I usually add an additional 10% for my fees, etc.)

Peace!
