If you didnt watch Fate Stay Night and Tsukihime... Watch it, After you watched them, I bet you will want to watch more of them, you will want the direct to make more and more of the anime Trust Me. The best anime i have ever seen.

Berserk, the anime ends abruptly, but the manga continues on.....very mature, blood, violence, demons, a little romance, more violence, more demons, sexual violence

"Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" is pretty good, but incredibly disturbing and violent. Definitely not one for the kids.
