Well, what immunizations has he had? He should have had his newborn series, at 2, 4 and 6 mos where he got the DPT, Polio, and Hib. At 18 mos. he should have got the MMR vaccine. If so, then he is set until he is ready to go to kindergarten.

well, babies need shots at birth, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 1 year, 18 months, and then again when they start preschool. if your child has all of those, then they should be currrent. if you have any doubts, call your local WIC office, or your doctors office. they can tell you if your child is up to date.

Check his shot records or better yet, ask his pediatrician. If you need a copy of his record call the local board of health.
