My psp right now is at version 2.71 and I want to download games and movies on it so which version would I need? And also can you tell me the website to downgrade to that version?

You dont need to.... DON'T DO IT. I have 2.80 and it's the best to me, but you cannot play downloaded psp games on your psp (only emulated). 2.71 is probably one of the best verisons to have right now. Downgrading is to risky. And you can dowload movies onto your psp with any verison you have.

For movies, any version will be fine. However, you need other software to convert them to the right format (such as PSP Video 9).
For download games, you need 1.50. Try http://www.psp-hacks.com/
