I need to write a mystery story for SCHOOL. so it needs to be school appropriate. You know. Nothing gory or violent. I cant think of any ideas.

What about the Mystery of the Disappearing Computers.
Constant pilfering is going on at school. But the last straw is when ALL the computers disappear one night. The mystery deepens because there doesn't appear to be any break-ins or broken windows at the school, nor did anyone see anything untoward happening. This is truly a challenge for:

" WHO STOLE THE 'APPLES' FROM THE _______ SCHOOL? "

I had to write one last year, and it was really fun. =) It was a murder mystery with a classic, yet unique super-detective....
The easiest way to write a mystery is to make up the chain of events leading to it first, and then making up how the whole thing happens, and from that, seeing what clues might be left.

do one about a weird girl who is a killer and nobody suspects her until the end when they find out all the missing bodys are hidden in her back yard
