People seem to be all over the map on this one.

In the United States:

- one state, Hawaii, does not observe Daylight Saving Time at all.

- only one state, Arizona, has parts where clocks do go ahead and parts where Daylight Time is not observed. Most of AZ remains on Mountain Standard Time, but the large Navajo Nation reserve in the northeast does go to Mountain Daylight Time, so Arizona is split, the only such state.

- all other US states observe Daylight Time over their entire territory. This includes Indiana, since April 2006, and Alaska, in which there was an unsuccessful move to cancel Daylight Time.

- some US territories, like Puerto Rico, never go to Daylight Time.

that is the dumest question to ask, look at the map, do you see that alaska and hawaii is not in the states is like an island. Only that states that are in north america or connecting each other are allowing daylight savings time.
