your browser should have parental controls included in it. it will let you limit sites that he can go to. or you can set a password for certain sites.

Use Avg7.5 Free antivirus and Antispy( old EWIDO)programs from www.grisoft.com. At least protect your computer.
Whatever settings you make in the computer can be
modified unless you are the Adminstrator..

If you run Windows NT,2000 or XP or 2003 Server, this will stop your brother accessing myspace
NB: seems to drop the last folder so \etc\ hosts" should read \etc\hosts"
1. click Start,
2. Click Run
3. type
"echo 127.0.0.1 myspace.com >> %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\ hosts"
(exclude quotation marks)
4. Click Ok
5. type
"echo 127.0.0.1 www.myspace.com >> %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\ hosts"
(exclude quotation marks)
6. type
"echo 127.0.0.1 collect.myspace.com >> %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\ hosts"
(exclude quotation marks)

Any other domain you see our brother access can be be locked similarly
type "echo 127.0.0.1 [Domain] >> %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\ hosts" (exclude quotation marks)

This will set your computer to think that the domain is hosted on your own computer and query your own computer and work out that you dont host the site and return Page could not be displayed error.

Go to your broswer's "internet options" then go to Security>then go to restricted sites.
Add www.myspace.com and then he may no longer log on to it.
