They aren;t always mean and unreasonable, someitmes they're nice and reasonable. But they usually don't truly remember what it was like to be a kid, or they had a very diff. lifestyle form the kids nowadays.

parents like to look down the road at things. it may seem that they are mean and wont listen, but they are looking out for your best interest. i dont know your situation, but i am leaning that they just want the best for you. and believe me, what may seem mean right know, could save you alot of heart ache in the long run. dont sell them too short. my parents did the same to me, and i thought they were just horrible, but they werent. they just loved me. it just took some growing up to see it. good luck. it will all be better before you know it.

They aren't. They are trying to do what's best for you...sometimes that means being the bad guy. You'll understand someday...I did, so did my kids.
