Does anyone know the nehavior pattern of the leopard gecko when trying to mate. Does the male become aggressive with the female? And I know their breeding time is from September to February, but they CAN breed outside of that. We are introducing a male gecko to our female and they began fighting. I am just curious. Thanks

They will mate all year long. There are no certain months that only mate. As long as the female and the male are in the same enclosure they will mate. They will get a little fiesty when mating or they could be fighting for space.

the male probaly just wants to mate with the female. and they breed all year long, as long as the are in the same tank. its best to keep the genders apart.
