well there's this boy, and he knows i like him. he has girlfriends all the time, but they dont last long. he still talks to me, even though he knows i like him.
I asked him out once, but he said no, probably because it was too soon to do so. I really like him, and i really want him to like me. i'm only 11, but i really need some tips to improve our friendship so i can ask him out again and have him (hopefully) say yes.

Talk. Start by saying hi every now and then. Then make up some problem and ask him for advice(it's an excuse to talk) Interrogate his friends, ask them stuff about him. Then find sometyhing ya'll have in common. Say something about it to your friends who "coincidently" are right beside him. Maybe he'll hear and be interested. You could wear a shirt with his favorite band on it. I'm sleepy so my advice probably sucks. Oh well. Anyway...good luck with that :). Oh, and, when you say your age on yahoo, don't say it unless it's totally important because old geezers will be all "there's more fish in the sea" when you don't care how many fish there are, you just want this one. I understand. I'm 13.

There are a few steps you should follow:

1) Talk to him every week. Don't make it too often, or else he'll be creeped out.
2) Once he starts to become more comfortable with you, as in actually taking time to notice you in the hallways, or starting random conversations, and even maybe smiling, invite him to your house.
3) Once you've invited him to your house, tell him, "Hey, this was fun. We should do this again sometime!" If he agrees, plan for another "date" (most boys love Gameworks, so you could try that).

hun, your only 11?? you shouldn't be thinking about boys at this age!! i'm 14, and i can tell you right now, boys are not the main issue. school is. but if you want tips, here goes.

talk to him. get inside his comfortable zone. let him know how you feel. ask him where you guys are at on the friendship status.

see if he even likes you as a friend. because believe me girl, its
way better finding out the truth yourself than figuring it out some other way!! hope i helped you!! :b

The person who answered first has a point, but I have no room to talk, i'm only 12 going on 13... I had a problem like that once, it's complicated... you know you like him and he knows you like him... If you call him everydAy, ease up.. give him space, that's what i did. and now, he txt msgs me, and calls me. you have to act careless at times, then care at other times.. and you never know once you get to know him, you might not like him anymore, or just like him as a friend.. Again that's what happened to me, i don't like him the way i did anymore, now he's one of my best friends.
