Lindamood-Bell is a company that provides programs and learning aides, primarily for younger students with learning difficulties. They do have a website that explains a bit about who they are, what they do, and the kinds of products they have available. You can visit it at http://www.lblp.com/. My son, who is in 4th grade and incredibly dyslexic, works with a tutor who is also a special education teacher. She has been working with him for almost 2 years, and uses Lindamood-Bell. This has made an incredible difference for him, and he has improved his reading level almost 2 full grade levels in the past year.

This is not only a system that is used with Special Education Children. It is a system that can be used in a whole classroom. It works best with younger child when they are learning letter sounds but also does a great job of helping older students figure out how to sound out longer words
