Gangrel (David Heath) was brought to WWE several times between 2004 and 2007. He made a few TV appearances, did some work in OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling), and was scheduled to wrestle in ECW as part of a Vampire faction along with Ariel and Kevin Thorn but it fell through. He was released on January 18th 2007 on what became known as Black Thursday during which time the WWE released nearly 20 superstars, if not more. In the WWE it was dubbed "Spring Cleaning" by employees. As others have said he is working other promotions now.

He was released by WWE in January and went to a wrestling promotion in England. Rumors say he already signed with TNA and will be there in three months, but it was not officially confirmed yet.
EDIT: Gangrel is 38, you WWE mark called Missy Orton, and you'd know who he was if you would have been a fan between 1998 and 2001, or even in 2004. Perhaps you should first think and than answer! By the way, Randy Orton will marry his girlfriend Samantha, in case you do not know yet!

Gangrel was still on the roster for a while even after he was taken off of TV. It's something WCW used to do all the time (How'd that work out by the way?) I wonder what possessed him to get those fangs in his mouth (they are real by the way). He and Luna belong together because they're both wierdos. But he was nice in the ring, wouldn't mind seeing him back.

For you people that don't know, Gangrel was the leader of the Brood, which included Edge and Christian.

Anyway, he was supposed to be on ECW after WWE bought it, but WWE had a change of plan, mainly due to his weight problems.
