I think of the classics you are looking at Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Cool Hand Luke, One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest, etc.

Of the modern classics, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Sense and Sensibility, (Gladiator could work), etc.

However, if the movies are just possessed to look impressive and are not watched/enjoyed by the collector, then its senseless to have them sit on your shelf.....
