The partial-birth abortion ban was passed by Congress and signed by Bush in 2003. However, federal district courts immediately blocked its enforcement. The Supreme Court is currently considering the ban.
Please keep in mind that even if the ban is upheld, abortion will still be legal throughout all nine months of pregnancy (see http://www.usccb.org/prolife/realitycheck1.htm ). The ban ONLY states that baby must be killed before “in the case of a head-first presentation, the entire fetal head is outside” the mother’s body, or "in the case of breech presentation,” before “any part of the fetal trunk past the navel is outside” the mother’s body. Unfortunately, there are many other equally heinous ways to kill unborn babies.

Yes it is legal murder.The mother goes 7 months -full term then the babys head is delivered and thats when the back of the babys head gets stabbed with a medical knife and then the brains are vacum out.There has been doctors that has done everything in their power to push the baby back up some because once the chest is exposed it is no longer legal murder but murder.thats in almost all the states........... Ok for those who gave me thumbs down I can understand that you do not consider abortion of any kind of murder but I do.And yes regardless of what Bush signed they do partial birth abortion here in the USA still.

an abortion can only be performed during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy. partial birth abortion is illegal in the U.S., President bush signed this into law on nov. 5th, 2003. there is only an exception if the life of the mother is at stake.

I think you're a bit confused, partial birth abortion is when during labor they pull the child out feet first, and then suck the brains out of the child's head.
I think it's legal in some states, not sure, but I sure as hell ain't moving to any of those states.
Sick, screwed up people do stuff like that.

certainly one of those judges that should come out of Obama, and Hillary, scare the crap out of me! it somewhat is one huge reason i'm vote casting for Juan "I by no potential supported amnesty" McCain. Partial beginning abortion is brutal and incorrect. they're murdering a obtainable existence. positive, have commonly used abortion criminal (i'm against abortion as a sort of beginning administration). yet partial beginning abortion is erroneous!

Many states have bans on the procedure but most are probably unconstitutional since they fail to make provisions for the safety of the woman.
