Bigger field, allows for players to spread out and also for more time to be elasped without much action.
Not enough scoring.

I though, am an American who loves soccer and finds it very exciting and entertaining to watch.

It's a pretty brutal game if you watch it! I've seen worse injuries in soccer than any other sport out there...except rugby perhaps. I think Americans find it boring because they don't understand it and there usually isn't a high amount of points. If they grew up playing it, they would understand the amazing skill and talent it takes to play at a professional level.

because they probably saw american soccer before and everybody knows american soccer is not very fun to watch. its gettin better tho. if they saw how the rest of the world played soccer theyll be impressed and they will realize that soccer needs lots of skill and speed. american football is just a bunch of fat skil-less guys tackling each other. i tried to like american football, ic ouldnt it sucks @$$. soccer is way better way more moves u can do. if u dont beleive me, just go to youtube.com and type in soccer skills and you'll see why soccer is the number 1 sport in the world baby!!!

First of all its called Football and not soccer. Secondly, the rest of the world finds American Football totally boring and a waste of time. There is no skill required, all u do is run with the ball from one end of the field to another.

i think most americans are weaned on the mls in terms of soccer, which is quite possibly the worst club soccer league in the world, which is probably why they tend to ignore soccer entirely...honestly, i don't watch any club soccer, but when world cup time rolls around i definitely watch it because it is very entertaining when you are playing for national pride like those guys are

you know i am american
i do not think "soccer" is boring, it rules
it should be called football, like everbody else calls it
but no us americans absolutely HAVE to be different from the rest of the world
i think it is bulls***
all american football requires is being able to throw and plow through people
mind you i have a few friends who play american college football
anyways
the point is, is that american football should not be called football
it should be called something else

because you dont get the sport...if you knew the teams and players, then you would be into it..i dont get how you can get bored when theres no commercials unlike the other sports you see...especially in american football, you see them play for like about 3 minutes and then a commercial..i find that boring...also if you think its boring, then why do you watch it???

it just looks odd to us to see grown men playing it. over here, it's a game small kids play because they don't have the motor skills to play the much more complex ans skillfull game of football. also, suburban mothers don't want their small kids getting hurt playing football. where as in soccer, you're just kicking a ball around, trying, with very little success, to make it into a huge net. much safer and less threatening for the 'soccer moms'. but by the time these kids reach high school age, they drop soccer and take up more complex and adult sports, like football.

BTW mike L: we DON'T watch it

Probably, there is not enough time to run to the fridge and pack up a big @ss lunch.

Co-Emperor, it should be called American rugby.
