If you know more than one...please list and describe as many as possible =].

I'm going to have to write a report soon on one of the gods/goddesses...So I'd like to have some background knowledge when it comes time to pick one.

Thanks SO much in advance =]

Aphrodite - goddess of love - was always my favorite
there's also

Artemis - goddess of hunting/archery
Athena - goddess of war
Demeter - goddess of agriculture
Hera - goddess of marriage/motherhood, queen of the gods (married to Zeus)

Then there are also some minor goddesses, but those 5 are the big ones. Greek mythology is really interesting, enjoy your paper.

I don't know many, but I've heard of Nemesis, and I did a report and presentation on her in 8th grade. She's the goddess of revenge. She usually carries a whip and a scale. She's kinda mean, I guess.

I have three:

Persephone (Hades's queen of the underworld)
Aries (god of war)
Phemonoe (goddess of poetry) :)

The first two are pretty popular, but I haven't been able to find much information on the last one (that's where I got my username, though).

Dr Cheese - he was the God of cheese

He had magic eyebrows that could shoot laser beams and turn cats into cheese. Then the Gods would feast on that cheese and think up schemes to invent other crazy gods.
