i need some advice from both girls and boys. i am just over 11 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend said that he wants to ask me to marry him but all he needs is a ring then he will do it. when he does ask and if its before the baby comes out which is in september, what do you think i should do? i love him and want to get married but im a little sceptical on him doing it while i am pregnant. what are your thoughts?

My stepsister and her now-husband waited until their baby was a few months old to get married. They didn't want it to look like they were getting married just because they had to, they were doing it because they wanted to. I have known people that want to get married before the baby is born so that the baby isn't born out of wedlock, and others that have waited. It's really up to you, but it sounds like you're leaning towards waiting. Just do whatever feels right to you.

Nothing wrong with making the promise while you're pregnant. Just make sure you still feel the same after your hormones settle in after the baby comes. I got engaged the weekend before we found out for sure that I was pregnant but pushed the wedding until after my daughter was born. Later I realized that it wasn't a good idea to stay together so we never got married. If I hadn't wanted to really enjoy myself at my own wedding I might be unhappily married now.

My fiance proposed while I was pregnant. Nothing wrong with that. I had a problem with getting married while pregnant. You know the whole shot-gun wedding sterotype. Anyways, we actually just got married today. Sooo, if you love him and want to get married then go for it.

My hubby and I got engaged when i was pregnant...but not married untill our oldest was 6 months old. I didn't marry him earlier because I didn't want to be fat on my wedding day!! But in all actuality i knew he was the one for me baby or not before I was pregnant and that made my dession that much easier.

my husband asked me to marry him when i was 5 month pregnant and my daughter was born on the 11th Nov 05 we got married in October 2006 so you could get married after you have you baby there is no rush but congrats when he does ask.

Would you be getting married if you weren't pregnant?
Then, ask him the same question.
If either of you hesitate, even a little, don't do it.
