How do most illegal immigrants coss the mexican border?

If you are going to cross the United States and Canadian border, by car or walking, then you just go to the border patrol or guard and show them your ID or passport and they ask you want you are going to be doing in the US or Canada and you tell them. If you are going by plane, when you land there will be border patrols at the airport and you do the same thing. By law to go to the US border by plane you have to have a passport now.
