I think it is highly possible. You either start to think about how you did love that person at one time very much or you see what else is out there and it isn't very impressive and you figure might else well go back with him.

two of my fathers brothers divorced their wifes, and then remarried them like a year, or two later. both have been remarried more then 15 years. also my best friend growing up parents divorced when we were 15, got remarried 3 years later, and redivorced two years later.

I have personally seen hundreds of these exact relationships. They will tell you that its actually better the second time around and would do it a third time if they could tell if it was even better. But this happens a whole lot more often than you think.

My mom and step dad did. And it lasted until he died 19 years later. I believe that they were soul mates.
