Tell her it's not a good idea that she's as young as she is and already making out with people, but understand she's going to experiment and you really can't stop it. All the nagging in the world will only make her feel bad and resent you, and who wants to listen to that? She's going to turn you off if you do. You can lead by example, tell her you're always available if she has a question OR if there's a trusted neighbor or teacher she will listen to, church influence is good, and making sure she has access to information on sex and preventing pregnancy and STDs. Introduce her to someone who got pregnant too young-find stories on it-she needs to understand she needs to be careful.
I don't have a problem with the hickey though..they feel nice to get, even if they look terrible. She can try makeup, but unfortunately the turtleneck sweater thing might be too warm right now. Maybe not? : )

Ask her about it. See how honest she is. Think back to your first hickey. Ask her if you need to take her for a pap? Pills? Condoms? As freaked out as you must be. Dont freak her out. She'll never talk to you again about that sort of thing. You may want to lock her up til she's 30. Good luck with that. I'm sure you are worried like crazy. Just tell her how you feel about it as calmly as you can. If youre close enough maybe you could tell her about the time your mom found you with a hickey. My mom told my grandma that she hit herself with a broom. Good one. As if grandma bought that. I know she young for this but it's going to happen sooner or later. Seems much sooner now than when I was a kid. Good Luck! Have a good life.

Spanking confident. At 13 i think of that the disciplinary strikes could desire to be somsthin different than spanking. No that does no longer mean hickeys on the neck is okay, yet something like, grounding, or eliminating telephone/workstation, etc. i think of their are extra effective the thank you to punish a teenager. Punishment could be mandatory for that one nevertheless.

I am 13 and if I did I would be hiding it. I would be ok if my mom talked to me about and then I would make sure she came straight home after school and not go out with friends for a few days. That's not that harsh. Do that unless you think what she's been doing is appropriate then what kind of a mom are you????
=)

I think I would freak out but you shouldn't so that. I guess it's time to explain the birds and the bees :) if you haven't already. Just sit him/her down and talk to him/her about what a hickey is and that it could be dangerous. It is a blood clot and could have serious side effects.

1) ask her who gave it to her.

2) ask her why, when and where

3) see how much she cares or him

4) give her "the talk"

5) tell her that hickeys arent appropriate for 13 year olds and that she should discontinue the hickey givings. (but allow her to see the boy or else they will do things they shouldnt)

6) KEEP YOUR COOL!

GOOD LUCK

if all else fails, beat her *** and ground her

have "the talk" with her, and explain that is can be dangerous, and that it doesnt look nice. People may think the wrong things about her if she goes around like that...looking like a lepord...try to be kind, and relaxed about it. Yelling at her and stuff, will only make her want to do it more

Punish Her & do a better parenting job... Your 13 yr old shouldn't be alone with a boy long enough to get one!
