my husband was told to castrate our jersey bull calf by using castation bands, the calfs testacles have not fell off and it has been almost 1 1/2 months.....help?

That is cruel...it is better, easier, faster, and more humane to slice open a testicle and pill out the innards and slice the vein to detach it. Repeat with the other. Leave them in the dirt for about an hour. Do not wash before putting in a bowl and chilling throughly. Rinse well, dry well, dip in eggs, then roll in flour, and pan fry. Rocky Mountain Oysters! YUM!!!

Slice em dice em and fry em! If your calf isn't too big yet where he'll bleed to death if you cut him, then you'll help him out a lot. If he is too old, the you could take him to the vet and have him put asleep while he's cut or just not do it at all. Good luck!

Ouch! Your procedure makes me cringe, why not chemical castration? Ask the person who recommended the castration in the first place.
