if you read my previous question, it was about my girlfriend being pregnant with twins then them dissapearing and her gaining a baby after that. well interesting facts to prove that she was telling the truth cam back in the U/S report, there was 2 amnotic sacs instead of just the 1? how do i go about talking with her about my feelings that i had before? i thought she was lying to me, but she was telling the truth. i also watched twins triplets and quads on austar on national geographic and well i got alot of info from that. did anyone else see it? i thought it was a great doco.

please help, need advise.

Just tell her you're sorry for not believing her, but that you know better now since you did some research and saw the docu. I watched it as well and it was very interesting. All you can do is apologize and comfort her now.

Disappearing twin syndrome is real, and actually common. It doesn't seem common because most people dont have their first ultrasound until after one of the twins died and subsequently absorbed into surrounding tissue. The other side of the story is what I have a problem with. An ectopic pregnancy cannot correct itself. I guess she could have had an ectopic pregnancy, miscarried, gotten pregnant with the twins and then lost one of those. But the other scenario you pointed out in your other post makes no amount of medical sense. Perhaps she was confused or misunderstood. Anyway, congrats on the baby. Best of luck to you.

Yup, this has been known to happen. Just let her know you are sorry for doubting her but truth is sometimes stranger then fiction. Let her know too that you are sorry she did not carry the other one. .
My friend had a tumor taken out and it had eyes and teeth. Strange things can happen.

You just tell her that you are sorry and that you did some reserch on multiples and found out that she was right!!! Also just say that there are many misconceptions that revolve around being pregnant with multiples and that you thought she was misdirected.
