I turn my car radio down everytime I pull up next to an elderly person so the loud music won't annoy them.Does that count?

Unfortunately, random acts of kindness are usually met with violence and death.
Every day we hear about people who stop to help other people with broken down cars, and then hear they have been hit and killed by another vehicle on the road that practically aimed directly at them while they were giving help.
People in general are suspicious by nature. Even I am. Just having someone bring the groceries out from the supermarket to your car is bad enough. I had some stuff swiped from my trunk when my phone rang and I answered it while the guy was putting stuff into my car.
Quite frankly, if someone came up to me with so-called good intentions, I would be more inclined to shoot them first and while they are lying incapacitated or dead on the ground, see what they were really after.

Yesterday, in the drive thru, I bought the car behind me their dinner order. Some stranger did it for me years ago and figured I would freak someone out and do it for them. Does that count as helping a stranger?

It's tomorrow (8 am) for me, and I have plans to help my older neighhbor with his market trip at noon.
Us EDT +12 folks always have the advantage with this sort of tomorrow question, but I do it every Tuesday. Maybe someday, I would need his help...

just today i was at walmart and a lady spilt a lot of stuff off of the bottom of her cart and i helped her pick it up...
