My husband and I have been ttc for going on 17 months now and I am getting desperate. I am thinking of buying some clomid online and trying it out to see if it helps us. Has anyone bought it online and it helped them? If buying online is a bad idea how do I get it prescribed to be by the doc? My gyno keeps saying we will get pregnant soon but to me it seems like 17 months of trying with no luck is a long time. Any advice out there of what our next move should be?

➔ Trying to Conceive
FYI, my cycles are normal. and as far as I knowI ovulate. I have a child so I can get pregnant. My husband has one also. And my doc is not concerned because of that factor. Just don't know what to do next or if I just keep trying and leave the docs and meds alone. Is clonid only for people who do not ovulate?

I have been TTC #2 for 3 YEARS, I would love to have another DC, but things are not workin in my favor :( I would NEVER buy a RX online. Like someone said earlier, how do u know that it is safe and that u are getting Clomid. Clomid is for ppl who DO NOT ovulate. I am desperate at this point, but would not put potential child bearing on the line by buyin something like that online. I would say find another dr or talk to a reproductive endocronoligist (u might wanna check that spelling).

personally I would change doc
and I would not buy clomid on line
I have been prescribe clomid and I do ovulate but once I get preg
I would lost the baby that is the reason why I have been prescribed clomid
I have not taken them yet because I am scared of the side effect
So my advise to you is that if you truly want to take them
change doc and explain your situation to the new doc
he will run test and maybe prescribe clomid
also note that it is best to fet it from a doc so you can be monitor properly
Good luck

You can get chlomid online but I dont advise that you buy it, it is for the use of couples who dont ovulate and if you do you couldn over stimulate your ovaries which could make you extremely ill or kill you.
If youare trying for a baby wait for a year and then see a specialist and they will decide which medication is the best for you. I know how you feel, a year is a long time, but trust me its not. I tried for 2 and a half years and had 4 miscarriages and then got pregnant through chlomid that was prescribed!!! I now have a gorgeous baby boy and feel so much happier about waiting cause trust me its worth it. When youn really work hard for something it is so much more satisfying when you get it trust me. And its a bonus you can get pregnant even though it didnt work out it shows that you are capable of conceiving a child on your own you just may need some help to carry it later on.

Clomid is only for women who don't ovulate but there can be other reasons that prevent conception. Get a second opinion or see a fertility specialist but don't buy drugs online that weren't prescribed to you. Best of luck.

i wouldnt trust buying prescription drugs online.. how do you know you are really getting what you pay for? or that its even safe? if you are healthy and young and been TTC for 12 months or more, your doc should be doing something about it. If he/she isnt, you need a new doctor! how do you know you NEED clomid? are your cycles irregular? do you not ovulate? the first step in an infertility workup is always the man having a sperm analysis. its simple, non-invasive, and eliminates him as the source of any problems

OH NO, do not buy it on line. IT IS VERY STRONG, it is hard to control yourself and your hormones. I have been on it three different times. Your OBGYN has to perscribe it to you. Tell your doct. that you want to get preg. now. BUT IF you have a normal cycle and things are all ok, then they will not give it to you. IT IS TOO DANGEROUS. I was on CLomid when I got preg. with my son and CLOMID thins out the linning of your uterus so I almost had a miscarriage with him. I had to be on bed rest of a month and take progestrogen too. It really needs to be monitered by a doctor. If your obgyn doesnot help you then you may think about seeing a fertility spec. to help you out

Clomid is really only for people who aren't ovulating, not for general fertility issues, unless you know what they are. It also really needs monitoring to ensure that follicles are developing properly, and that you're not developing symptoms of ovarian hyperstimlation syndrome-it's rather risky to purchase fertility drugs over the internet without a doctor monitoring you.

What is clomiphene?
Clomiphene is a nonsteroidal fertility medicine. It causes the pituitary gland to release hormones needed to stimulate ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary).
Clomiphene is used to cause ovulation in women with certain medical conditions (such as polycystic ovary syndrome) that prevent naturally occurring ovulation.
Clomiphene may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
