It is not totally free, but it is the best deal I have found and we have been pretty satisfied with it. I paid an initial lifetime fee for total access. I think the fee was under $30 and then it is a $9.99 charge per month. My son has downloaded hundreds of songs to his MP3 player and I like it because I can save songs to my Windows Media playlist.

1. Yes
2. Lame wire records your IP so yes, if you share, you break the law.
3. Use WinMX since it is not traceable, no IP logs, 100% safe.

4. Why are you posting such a ? on Home & Garden?

Don't steal music.

Download from legitimate sites. There are plenty of legal places to get music free, like the record labels websites or the Archive.
