Yeah,
Pat White and Steve Slaton will prove to be a huge success again this year.
Along with WVU, I believe that Michigan and USC will have the best chances at the national title.

Not likely, simply becuase the NCAA division one championship is more or less a popularity contest at the beginning of the year. If your team isn't ranked high enough to begin with, the chances of catching the "media darlings" such as USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Ohio State are slim to none. And if you do go undefeated, you still may not get enough "votes" from the computer to earn a chance to play for the title. Just ask Auburn or Boise State! Boy do we need a playoff system. Good luck to the Mountaineers, you have a great team.

they have a chance, but they'll have to get through a tough conference schedule, with a road trip to rutgers and a home game against louisville, as well as hope that teams like usc, michigan, and florida...however, with pat white and steve slaton both returning healthy, they will be a tough team to beat

No, they play in the wrong conference to get the votes; and, their schedule won't prepare them to play with the top two or three other BCS schools. The Florida's or Southern Cal, and others.

If they do they won't win it. By looking at Rivals and such they do not have very good players. The Big East does terrible in recruiting.

No. They really aren't that good aside from Slaton, White and Schmitt. You stop the run and you stop WVU.
