I just bought Nars powder foundation in "Mont Blanc" about a month ago.. and although I love how it looks right after i apply it... a few hours later my cheeks and chin get really oily. Does anyone else have to apply this at least 2 times a day? I've been considering trying mac next time I need to buy more.. what do you think?

Thanks!

Have you heard of Makeupalley.com ? If you sign up as a member (free), you can search all the powder foundations you can possibly think of, and read reviews on each product there, and what worked for people, and what didn't.

As for the short answer: Try MAC and something without oil in it.. it sounds like the Nars one has oil. OR you can try priming your face with Smashbox primer, or Bare Escentuals prep + prime, and it should get your makeup to hold longer. It will also absorb the oil/shine under your makeup.

try this. right after you apply the make-up take a damp cloth and firmly press against your face in all the spots that are prone to getting oily. but be careful not to smear.
