if you're under 18 you probably have to appear in court. If your ticket is waiverable, which shold be noted on the ticket you can pay the court however they accept payment. Each court has different payment policies.
I wouldn't attend a traffic school until you're about to lose your license due to too many points.

If you live someplace like Los Angeles, then yes you will be able to pay your ticket on-line or over the phone. If you live in a smaller county, you should call the Superior Court (number should be on your ticket). In the county that I live in you have to go to the court house and before you attend traffic school you have to pay the ticket. The only time you will actually go to court is if you want to fight your ticket, even sometimes when you do that the Judge might lower your fine.

yeah you can definitely pay your ticket online or over the phone. when you get the ticket in the mail just call the number on there and let the know you want to sign up for traffic school. they'll send you a listing of the traffic school resource and yeah you can do it online, but look at all of your different online options. some will be alot cheaper than others. and you ahve to pay your ticket before going to traffic school

there is a number on the citation to call and pay before the hearing date.......if the ticket is speeding only,.... not eluding, reckless driving, or felony speeding added in there somewhere. simple moving violation - simple fix. signing the ticket isn't an admission to guilt, however paying it without a court appearance requires you to plead guilty, pay and go on your way. You can do this at the court house or by mail , both by talking with the Court Clerk.
