any idea's on how i could start a modeling career?

and staring a portfolio?

You don't need a portfolio to get started, just simple home snapshots to submit to a reputable agent. First you look up the legitimate agents in the biggest city in your state and contact them to see if they are taking new clients. If so, ask them what you need to submit for their consideration. Sometimes you mail in the stuff or sometimes you can even bring it in personally for them to see you. That's how it's done.

The American modeling industry is located in New York City.
Current Height and Weight Requirements: 5'9" tall and weigh 125 lbs.

If you seriously want to model you must live in NYC.
Do not be concerned with a portfolio. If you move to NYC, the modeling agency will help you build a portfolio appropriate for their agency.
