Corn is hard to digest for some people, period. People are more susceptible to it if they're babies or elderly. I've been told that when your pregnant you digestive slows wayyyy down to take any and all nutrients from your food to give it to Baby. So yep, your food does take longer. They say there is a "delayed emptying of the stomach" when pregnant. Our bodies change so much when we get pregnant, so I would hold that accountable if you don't normally have corn in your, er... stuff. But you're eating corn, so that's great! It shows you're eating healthily, keep it up!

My uncle and I call corn the candy veggie. Because your body cant digest it no matter if you are pregnant or not!!! Food takes much longer to digest the farther along you are. Because your uterus is pushing up on your stomach. Your stomach has little room (or in my case, pregnant with twins, NO ROOM) to digest food properly thats why many women complain of heartburn and indigestion in the last month or 2 of pregnancy!!

Corn is hard to digest and people dont general chew it in tiny peices hence being able to see it in our bowel movements. Dont worry nothings wrong with you. Im guessing its always been like that for you but now that you are getting close to delivery you are more concerned about everything.. its ok!

Corn is very hard to digest & will often come out whole. Your pregnancy state may cause you to have less digestion.
It happens to many who are not pregnant as well.

Well, it's funny you ask this question because my son ate corn yesterday for lunch and it's still coming out. I know he's a child but every time he eats corn he's uses the bathroom alot and it's corn. Plus when your pregnant you get constipated and so it will stay in your system longer.

The outside of the kernal of corn contains cellulose which cannot be digested by your stomach. So yes, high fiber in the corn = corn in your bowels. Don't fret, it is ok.

When you get pregnant your body and the child inside is making you crave things that you may not normally crave and after the baby you will eat things you never liked. Raw corn is good just leave it out (natural). Your baby may not want corn even if you do stop eating it.
