Yes. We have one in our house, our dog constantly sees it.
I think the freakiest thing was once I was sitting on our bed and my daughter was walking down the hall and as she walked past our room, she stopped and looked back in and asked "who was just sitting by you on the bed?" I looked at her like she was crazy and she got freaked out because she said someone had been sitting next to me. We've all had little freaky things like that.
Our house was built by a couple who raised their family here, and they never lived anywhere else. I'm not sure if they died in the house but I think it must be one or both of them floating around.
My daugher works on a military base where a plane crash occurred, killing over 160 people and one of the hangers was used as a morgue. Anyway, late at night as she's been out on patrol near where the accident occurred she, and many others, see people standing around, they see them and then they're gone. Also the hanger is thought by many to be haunted because of things that have happened. No one will go near the place at night.

I have family members generations removed that have visited me. There was a time in a dream I went to a house with my mom. I talked with this lady for what seemed like an hour. She told me I needed to take care of my mom and my sister when the time comes.
I saw a picture of the lady in my grandmother's photo album a few years later. Turns out she was my grandmother's grandmother. Oh, and my sister was born little more than a year after the dream.

Yes. At least, that's the only thing that could explain it. When my mother died, my sister and I went to get her ashes at the crematory. I asked if I could see where they did the cremation (of course, they weren't DOING any at the time) and the gentleman offered to show us.
He took us to a room where there were seats for families who had services at the crematory. There was one door in from the lobby, and the door into the place where they did the cremations was at the front of the room. There was a large picture window with a curtain on the opposite side, and the man asked us to wait in the 'chapel' so he could go into the other room to pull the curtain back, so we could see into the cremation room.
He went in and shut the door behind him. JUST as the door closed, this ball of light came zipping out from the cremation room, into the chapel. It was about the size of a raquet ball and it glowed from the inside and colors spun around in it. This thing looked as real as anything else in the room. My sister and I both watched it. It shot up in the air...spun for about 2 full seconds, and dropped between us to the floor. When it hit, it looked like it splashed...like it had been a liquid, and it absorbed into the floor.
I said "Tell me you saw that." She said "I was hoping you saw it!" We both reached down to touch the carpet where it had landed, and it was totally dry. No color, no glow...nothing.
We tried every way we could to explain it, but there was no light coming into the room...it didn't reflect off of anything, it just hovered. Very, very weird.

This ghost wouldn't leave me alone when I was small.
But I wasn't really afraid of it..just curious. I always got cold when I felt it near me or saw it or something. We got our house blessed after that and it stopped a bit. But it's messing with me again and it's very disturbing. Now I'm pretty much terrified of it.

My Grandfather used to smoke a cigar. A couple of weeks after he passed away, my mother and her two sisters, all experienced the "smell" of cigar smoke, in each of their homes on separate occasions. Just a quick whiff of it, but all three experience it, not knowing the other two did also, until they were all together one day and told each other about it.

I used to see ghosts very clearly every night. But I put some aluminum foil on the rabbit ears, and they are not so bad now.

I have a second hand experience:
My grandmother lost her husband many years ago. About a year after she lost him she swore that she would see him sitting in his favourite lounge chair. Later she confessed she would converse with him but there would be no answer. She never tried to touch him. She was not crazy. She even thought it was crazy.

When everyone was in bed, my dad and sister claimed they heard voices in the living room below but I didn't believe them. Untill I heard them one night. And there was no tv/radio on. Everyone was asleep 'cause I checked.
And we've seen/heard things we can't explain. Things have moved too.
This house is scary!

My old house was haunted and it was my room. My dad said he heard 50s music coming from my room everynight. Hmm I wonder if that had any influences on what music I like today.

I was on my couch sleep one day and felt what i thought was my 6yr old jump on the couch with me and start walking up the couch. I opened my eyes to tell her to get off the couch and could not move. No one was there. I was scared to death.
