I think was a terrible move for the Bears. They traded away Jones and the 67th pick in the draft, just for the 37th pick in the draft. I agree that Jones needed to be traded, but the Bears should have been able to get much more for him.

good point the trade was not good for the Bears. I'm a Bears fan my self and i do understand how Cedric Benson is the future of the team i don't understand why you don't keep Jones to help him along. if you are only upgrading a little bit then why not hold on to him another year and trade him later. Jones was a great player and i really think it was a mistake letting him go

totally puzzled. But its a business and TJ will do well in the big apple. The thing is Cedric Benson is comming of a knee injury and he did have some durability issues a Texas, so I am thinking the Bears will draft some RB's or go after free agent backs.

It might have been Jones's fault

maybe he wanted out no matter what and the bears just wanted to get something out of it
maybe

I kno its alot better than just releasing him like the steelers did with Joey porter

What is it with NFC North teams and running backs. That trade is a complete waste of a tallented player. Another bs move is Ahman Green to Houston. Why can't players be happy with a team that made them what they are.

How is the Suns contenders for a championship and they haven't made it to the finals since Barkley was a Sun?

And since they became a better team on Nash's arrival doesn't mean that he makes his teammates better. In 2004 the Pistons always said that if Rasheed didn't jion there team they wouldn't of won a title. Does Rasheed get's all the credit for the Pistons? NO!
