I've been checking with my peers but we all seem to have different ratios. So i dont know who is right. and whos wrong.

You can figure out the moles of CO2 by balancing the equation fuel + O2 -> CO2 + H2O.

Then just do a google search for "energy content fuels" or alternatively figure it out from the heat of formation for the CO2, H2O, and fuel. I'd go with google :)
