just write thats the best advice....record the music, pass it out to everyone in the band on cassete or cd. Just listen and write, the first line can kick off a whole Idea or concept. Dont try so hard that you get writers block, just go with the flow. Try to be original and dont let lil things like ryme and stuff hold you back. Try to use metaphors and let it just come out. Good luck(a little alcahol or smoke couldnt hurt either for inspiration.)

Remember songs are just poems put to music.
If you have the music, you can write the words to fit the beat.
If you have the lyrics, you can write music around the beat of the poem.
Steve Tyler (Aerosmith) used to wake up with beats and piano licks in the middle of the night, then come up with the lyrics some times years later.
Good luck on your Band.

Hey pie man. I just got done writing this really long explanation about how I have written songs before, but I somehow erased it! So basically try to make your own "Mad Libs". I'd type it all again, but...
Google it...
Anyway...
Good luck!

Oh yeah, try free writing. That's just writing anything down as fast as you can without even thinking about it. Just write. It dosent even need to ryme. You can figure that out later.

Are you asking someone to write it? That is kinda hard to do without hearing it.
