I used to....it was the greatest reason to leave school...we had a very understanding nurse.....

Sometimes i do..It really depends on how bad the cramps are.But most of the time i just deal with it.I'm kinda getting used to cramps so i don't really skip too much school anymore.Unless they're terrible, then i do.

Absolutely! I have endometriosis and twice at work I was so doubled over in pain they called an ambulance. It was so embarrassing. I hate using the sick days, but I honestly can't get out of bed the first and sometimes the second day of my period. If the cramps are minimal I go to work and eat midol-extra strenght-all day.

I usually just go home during a self-direct (junior/senior study hall where we can go anywhere on school grounds) which is not allowed, and find some sort of cramp medicine...but usually I'm prepared, and am ready for it by being pre-medicated.

Well, I'm not in school, and my cramps aren't bad enough for me to justify taking time off work.

I have a couple of times...
Cause mine get really bad, and I can't stand up at all or I can't sit down for long periods of time. I usually sleep for awhile, but it wakes me up after awhile. I wish I didn't but I make up the days after awhile.
Maybe I'll start a support group for girls for their cramps and stuff.
What do you think?

I did in high school because they were so bad that I was in bed for 2 to 3 days each month. No more worries for me, my doctor gave me a hysterectomy for my 25 bday :)

Only if I'm in alot of pain...I used to have cramps so bad I couldn't get out of bed!

Yes, of course...especially when I was younger and I had 3 hour swim team practices, UUUGH
Now? Only if they are killer cramps that make it difficult to walk...

Nope but I try not to go out when I have cramps. I am so cranky. People think I am abitch.

even if i dont have cramps, i call into work sometimes during that time of the month. what are they going to say? no you dont get cramps when you get your period?
