The Electric Company on PBS? It was a childrens education show...I think Lou Gosset Jr. and a couple other celebrites used to be on it. What do you remember about it?

Of course I remember The Electric Company. I remember Fargo North Dakota, The Short Circuits, The word song where 2 sillouettes stood facing each other and same words that rhymed and said "Yeah" at the end. I also remember "It's the plumber, I've come to fix the sink", the guy named "Crank", "Letter Man", Joan Rivers' voice, Morgan Freeman, Rita Moreno, and the opening song. TV will never be the same. Sesame Street from the 70's - also a classic that will never be again.

Two notables who were on the Electric Co. when I watched in 5th grade in '71 were Rita Moreno and Morgan Freeman!

Just barely. I remember the psychedelic pinball thing and the ladybug picnic. Also the phonics words where two silouhette people would say half the word....
.....or was that Sesame Street? It's all a bit fuzzy...

Yes I remember it cuz of the line "Hey You Guys". I also remember having to watch it in school. I did like the show. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

i didn't like it and I think it was Morgan Freeman who was on the show....it was always on after Sesame Street and I would change the channel and watch cartoons instead
