Many of Ann Coulter's advertisements have been removed from various websites, saying they do not want to have anything to do with her at this point in time.

But even more importantly, she gave democrats a new cause to rally behind and democratic candidates a new cause to gain donations for.
The fight against politics of hate-speech and bigotry!
Love it or hate it, Ann Coulter has given the Democratic Party "Coulter Cash".
Here is a taste of what I am talking about:

NOW does everyone denounce and regret the words which spewed from her nasty mouth?

I think she's funny. But then I have a sense of humor.
Not to mention a sense of irony.

“I also find it funny that libs are all for "free speech" if it's coming from a liberal, but if it's a conservative, they're not allowed to speak their mind. Not sure what that's about.”

Conservatives are “allowed” to say whatever the hell they want. However, just as with liberals, they have to accept that there are consequences for one’s actions/speech. If you want to run your mouth and use slurs instead of discussing politics like a grown-up, hopefully you will face repercussions.

Do I honestly care if Coulter called a married man a “******”? No, simply because the whole premise is ridiculous and not even worth a scoff. I do, conversely, have a problem with the other things she has said.

Mainly, what she said to a disabled Vietnam vet, "People like you caused us to lose that war."—MSNBC, Oct. 11, 1997

I have no patience for anyone who is either that willingly ignorant and/or malevolent.

Good Lord! If Coulter is the standard to negatively affect the Republicans, similar behavior and words live ten fold in the Democratic Party where real racists and bigots live. That was the point of her humor. I don't think much of her, but the Dems are downright terrible on this score. They have not a donkey leg to stand on when measured against Coulter.

She's just a comedian. I find her humor to be both accurate and funny. Yes, I'm impressed with her. She's got a great education, tons of experience, a quick wit and she's beautiful to boot.

I also find it funny that libs are all for "free speech" if it's coming from a liberal, but if it's a conservative, they're not allowed to speak their mind. Not sure what that's about.

I think most of the loopy libs are just blowing what she said out of proportion, like they always do. She's right about the point of her statement; libs think everyone should be in rehab if they don't think like a loopy lib.

On the other side, your darling lib Bill Maher felt it necessary to remark that it's too bad the assassination attempt on our Vice President was unsuccessful. Where's your outrage over that? I suppose you agree with him, and if you do, your criticism of Ann Coulter is disengenuous at best and outright hypocracy overall. Oh Yeah, let's also not forget that idiot Maher felt is necessary to out Ken Mehlman so where's that famous loopy left empathy for others? Where's your outrage over that.

Where's your denouncement?

She's just one person. As with all political commentators, her every opinion does not necessarily reflect those of her chosen party. And, as with quite a few political commentators, both conservative and liberal, she gets her point across by being obnoxious. I lean toward the conservative side but I do not feel that my beliefs can be summed up by any single commentator. I agree with some of them some of the time, but not all of them all of the time. I don't think anyone, conservative or liberal conforms to the molds we claim exist for the other parties.

publicly, and after the news media spread the word, a lot of prominent repubs disavowed her...many of the same ones who were cheering when she said it, and who privately admire her and agree with her...i bet she's gotten a TON of congratulatory calls and e-mails from the party faithful

The word Ann Coulter used is nastier than people realize. It's first meaning was the instrument used to light a fire to burn people alive--as they used to do to gays, witches or religious dissidents. It has a far deeper meaning than being a homosexual.
