I'm not sure I get what you're asking. Fire is a elemental sign, represented by the wand, Air being represented by the sword. Air is predominantly associated with communication, intellect and speed of thought, while fire with creation, courage and loyalty.
So speaking from an elemental standpoint you'd have a creative, courageous, loyal, intelligent entity with good communication skills and fast thought processes.
Of course you might be referring to the possibility of things like the StarWars lightsaber, in which case there is one reference I have come across to a similar item on earth:-
Dyrnwyn, gleddyf Rhydderch Hael: White-Hilt, the Sword of Rhydderch Hael: if a well-born man drew it himself, it burst into flame from its hilt to its tip. And everyone who used to ask for it would receive; but because of this peculiarity everyone used to reject it.
I hope this helps.

actually flaming swords are great for fantasies like movies, or the bible, but any good metal smith will tell you heating a sword will make the metal loose its temper
