MY LIFE SUCKS

My brother told me about a famous painting by a renowned artist depicting a city in gray with people in gray going to work.
He told me that the artist had it all wrong! Why? Boring is good, he said.
Once you have no work, war, illness etc--you may no longer be bored, but it's not what anyone wants.
If you're bored, that means you have time to read a book, look at TV, listen to music, go for a walk. The problem is your mental state and attitude--so get off you butt and have some fun!
Get a pet and play with it--whatever? Just get busy!

Yes, but I think for very different reasons. I have enough to live on, but no one will hire me despite my several talents, because 1) I am thought too old and 2) my resume intimidates them. I suppose I could get a job as a grocery bagger or one of those people who hand out shopping carts at the Walmart, and I would if I needed to, but I don't and I won't.

I wish it was sometimes I feel sure I will never get caught up and there is a certain boredness in that, but never really. Days just seem to fly by even when I don't have the time for them. LOL

i work ten hours a day five days a week. when I'm not at work I'm at home in an empty house. i rarely go out except for work so i think i have you beat in my life is boring-er.
