Very punctual, now. When I was a student, always late. What, did I become an adult, all of a sudden? Scary thought. I think I'll pay one late, this month. lol

Punctual, if you consider that if I know I have a 10 or 30 day grace period before lt's considered late, I'll leave the money in the bank until the last possible moment in order to collect more interest. The company owed certainly isn't going to pay me for paying on the 1st instead of the 15th! But remember, I only do this where I have a "grace" period. Everything else gets paid by the due date.

I read all through person #43's answer, and no one said what I have to say:
After some 19+ years of doing accounting work for a living - most of which was AP (Accounts Payable - paying of my employer's bills), I was - frankly - a little burned out on paying bills. I HATE paying bills twice - once for my employer then turn around and a whole new set of bills to pay. Over and over. Just got burned out. So, now I do secretarial, and am trying to pay on-line and auto withdrawls to take care of a few. My new hubby is very frugal, so I will probably ask him to take over.
BYW, I have a very high credit rating, despite my many "oops" and late-by-a-few-days payments by and by over the years.

I pay bills on the 10th and 17th and 27th of each month and any real important CAR REGISTRATION/ INSURANCE asap.
It's nice to have 2-3 times a month you pay bills.
It takes a short amount of time, it's scheduled on your calendar, you have this in your budget, so you aren't paying rent and credit card with in the same 2 weeks pay period.
It's important to be prompt.
It's respectful, and the things we put off, we forget, and sometimes go unpaid.

I'm not even close to punctual bill paying... They have a tendency to slip my mind in light of other priorities.
So I'm habitually late.
