The great fire of Rome happened under his watch--at his instigation by some acounts. He started the persecution of Christians. His henchmen in Palestine provoked the Jewish War. And he was ultimately assassinated, ending the Augustan-Antonine dynasty.

he killed so many innocent Christians just because he, like many other men throughout history, blammed Christians and Jews for thier belifs that they are wrong and that there is no God and that we are all just a step lower than a dang Chimp!!!!!! Ugh! that's how catacombs came in to existence.
Many ppl are still being executed for thier belifs, China , for example.
