If you had to pick three things to always have with you - what would they be?

This question goes out to anybody - what are three things (things that would fit in a pocket or purse) that you think could be useful in any situation - these three things being what you'd want to carry around to be prepared for anything. I am doing this survey for a class and would really appreciate your help. Some other popular answers include: string, paperclip, tazer(?), credit card, and lightsaber(???). What about you? What three things would you want to have at all times to be prepared for anything?

a Swiss army knife, a magnesium bar w/ flint stick, and three feet of surgical hose. It would be nice to be wearing a thick leather jacket in the event of sudden disaster. Go camping with just these items, and you'll see why I chose them. I'd try to find lyndalu to bum some Tylenol and maybe a cracker or two.

A lighter, my pocketknife,and a bag of Frito-lays ( Survivor Show, guy had fritos to light campfire, set animal traps, and to eat a piece or 2. You should be wearing a belt, anyhow. You have strings in your tennis shoes, etc.
