No way dude.... your giveing up a top pitcher and a Top Closer for TJ. Smoltz is good but is getting older and team is getting weaker. I would do Carpenter strait up for Tejada. or if you want to add Hall in you can. but this trade is horrible

If holds count in your league I'd say it's a great trade...Tejada & schmooltz are perpetuals, & Wheeler is one of the best 8th inning men in the game (which might translate to saves if Lidge can't get his stuff together...)
Hall & Carpenter could go either way...K Rod is always good, but you have to give to get I s'pose...

I would say pull the trigger, Tejada is well, Tejada, Smoltz could be a #1 on most teams, and with him as your 2/3. If you have another solid closer definetly do it, because that would be the only cause for concern.

It's a good trade. I don't think you should trade Carpenter, but to get Tejada and Smlotz, it's worth it. I don't tlike Dan Wheeler, he's probably not so great to have on your team, but overall, it's an ok trade.

smart trade, smoltz is a little less better then chris, tejada had a down year but will bouns back up with better hitting support, k-rod is a great pitcher but will only get u SV one catigorie while smoltz and tejada will get u all of the catigories
