Your nose is a lot easier to pierce by yourself because it is more structured (not as floppy as your lip for example).

I really don't support piercing it yourself only because a lot of things can go wrong with infections.

But if you're going to do it, use a lot of ice to numb it, (or buy the baby teething stuff that numbs baby's gums to stop the pain), alcohol to sterlize the area, and a very sharp needle that's thick enough to use your thumb to push down on.

I'd suggest putting 2 thumbs under your lip, pulling it out, and pushing in the needle into the spot you want.

HOWEVER. You might really hurt yourself because the needle could go straight into your gums and since your lip isn't as "structured" as your nose, it will flip-flop around and be hard to hold still to get an accurate piercing.

Maybe you might want to enlist a help of a friend, but please, I'm begging you to go to a piercing shop and get it done safely.
